Partnership for Peace

Partnership for Peace is NATO project aimed at creating trust between NATO and other states in Europe, including many ex-Soviet Union ones. Three states have joined as members (Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland) since joining NATO in 1999.

  1. Turkey recognises the Republic of Macedonia with its constitutional name.
  2. These countries joined NATO on the 16th March 1999
