Oppland

Oppland is a county in Norway, bordering Sør-Trøndelag, Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Akershus, Oslo and Hedmark. In 2002 there were 183,235 inhabitants, which is 4.0% of the total population in Norway. Its area is 25,191 km². The county administration is in Lillehammer.

Municipalities

Oppland includes the well-known tourist places Valdres and Gudbrandsdalen.In Gudbrandsdalen the villages Otta,Dovre and Dombås are located.Oppland also includes the two highest mountains in Norway,Galdhøpiggen and Glittetind.
