Zhenjiang

Zhenjiang (formerly transliterated as Chinkiang) is a city in the eastern Jiangsu province of China. Population: 1,280,027.

The city is located east of Nanjing, along the Chang Jiang and the Grand Canal of China. It was an important trade center during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Zhenjiang was the birthplace of Li Lanqing
