University of Toronto at Mississauga

The University of Toronto at Mississauga (UTM), also known as Erindale College, is a mid-size university, with an enrollment of approximately 7,000 students. As one of the University of Toronto's three campuses--the other two being the St. George Campus (downtown) and the University of Toronto at Scarborough--UTM students earn a University of Toronto degree (benefiting from its internationally recognized reputation) while enjoying UTM's casual, friendly and natural environment.

UTM is located in Mississauga, Ontario, a suburb located on Toronto's western border, in a park-like setting on the Credit River. The surrounding neighbourhood (the Mississauga Road area/Credit Woodlands) is a fairly affluent section of the city. UTM is approximately 33 km away from downtown Toronto.

UTM offers 125 programs among 70 areas of study. The University's most popular programs include anthropology, biology, commerce, communications, computer science, crime and deviance, environmental studies, history, management, philosophy, psychology, and sociology. Canada's only program in forensic science is available at UTM. In addition, UTM students can apply for a joint-degree program (a university degree and college diploma) with UTM and Sheridan College joint programs in Art and Art History or in Theatre and Drama.
