Texas Christian University is located in Fort Worth, Texas. Its mascot is the horned frog. Its school colors are purple and white. About 8000 students attend the school.

TCU, nicknamed the Horned Frogs, competes in NCAA sports as a member of Division I (I-A in football). It is a member of Conference USA. The school's most famous athlete was the football player Sammy Baugh; among currently-active athletes, the best-known TCU product is another NFL star, LaDainian Tomlinson.
