Takasugi Shinsaku

Takasugi Shinsaku (高杉 晋作 1839-1867) is a samurai who contributed to the Meiji restoration.

Born in Choshu domain, he studied under Yoshida Shoin and organized Kiheitai. He died of tuberculosis at young age.
