SeaBus

The SeaBus is a ferry link between Downtown Vancouver -- connecting with the West Coast Express, Waterfront Skytrain Station, and Canada Place -- and North Vancouver's Lonsdale Quay -- a popular tourist attraction and bus loop. It is part of Vancouver's integrated public transport system.

The SeaBus crosses Burrard Inlet from a dock 100 metres southeast of the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre. It finishes 10 mins after departure at Lonsdale Quay, and does the trip over again.

The cost of the trip is a two-zone fare, ranging from $3.00 for adults, and $2.00 for children. Bikes are permitted, but only to designated areas. Four hundred passengers can be taken on each journey; passengers are automatically counted by a turnstile as they enter the boarding area.

Other routes have been discussed before -- such as a route connecting the Downtown Core with the rest of the Greater Vancouver on the other side of False Creek. However, studies incidicate the likelihood of that happening to be nil.
