Paris, Texas (movie)

Paris, Texas (1984) is a movie directed by Wim Wenders, probably his most well-known and critically acclaimed, with a distinctive musical score by Ry Cooder. The film takes place between Los Angeles and the desert near the Texas town of Paris. Screenplay was by Sam Shepard.

It won the 1984 Palme d'Or (Golden Palm) at the Cannes Film Festival.

The film stars Harry Dean Stanton as amnesiac Travis, Nastassja Kinski as his wife, Jane along with actors Aurore Clément and Dean Stockwell.
