Nora Ephron

Nora Ephron (born May 19, 1941) is an American female film director, producer and screenplay writer. Her parents, Henry Ephron and Phoebe Ephron were both successful screenwriters. She is best known for her romantic comedies.

Nora Ephron's second husband was journalist Carl Bernstein. When he left her for Margaret Jay, Ephron retaliated with the novel, Heartburn (1983), later made into a film starring Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep.
