Michael Praed

Michael Praed (born April 1, 1960), British actor, is probably best known for his role as Robin of Locksley (Robin Hood) in the British television series Robin of Sherwood. He left the series after two years to appeal on Broadway as D'Artagnan in The Three Musketeers. He then appeared as Prince Michael of Moldavia on the television series Dynasty for a year.

Other television works include Riders (1993), Crown Prosecutors (1995)and The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne (1999).

His stage work includes playing Frederick in the The Pirates of Penzance (1982-3), Andrew Lloyd-Webber's Aspects of Love (1991-92) and Harold Pinter's The Caretaker (1993).

More recently, he has starred in the West End production of 'Contact' (2002/3) and toured Britain in 'The Constant Wife'(2003).
