Marsupilami is a fictive animal created André Franquin in 1952. He is the pet of the comic strip Spirou et Fantasio.
He first appeared on TV set in the Raw Toonage and then spun off on his own show. Marsupilami's supporting characters included Maurice the Gorilla, Stuie the Elephant, Eduardo the Jaguar, Norman the Poacher, and other characters.
