Luther Blissett (footballer)

Luther Blissett was a footballer who played for Watford F.C, A.C. Milan and England during the 1980s. He was one of the first black footballers to play for England, and scored a hat-trick on his international debut. Blissett made more than 500 appearances for Watford, his first club, before heading to Milan and then Bournemouth, Mansfield and Bury. Following retirement from his playing career, Blissett rejoined Watford as a coach. In April 2002, he moved to York to carry out a similar role.
