Lindi

Lindi is both a seaside town (2003 pop. 69,000) and a surrounding region of southeastern Tanzania. The town is located at the mouth of the Lukuledi River, but its port facilities are almost nonexistent.

The Lindi region borders on Pwani, Morogoro, Ruvuma, and Mtwara. Much of the eastern part of the region is in the Selous Game Reserve.
