Greater Puget Sound

The Seattle-Tacoma Metropolitan Area, also the Greater Puget Sound, is centered around Seattle, Washington and consists of six counties, two urban center cities and four satellite cities.

Each urban core city is extremely industrial with a high-rise core. The satellite cities are primarily suburban, with a small downtown core and a small industrial area or port. The satellite cities surround the two urban cores and the suburbs surround each satellite city. The suburbs contain residences, strip malls and shopping centers.
