Friar Park

Friar Park is the Victorian neo-Gothic mansion built by the eccentric Sir Frank Crisp near Henley-on-Thames and purchased by the Beatle George Harrison as his home in 1970.

It has extensive gardens and water features.

A recording studio was installed in a guest suite and at one stage was better than that at EMI's Abbey Road.
