Bethel Park is a borough located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 33,556.

census of 2000, there are 33,556 people, 13,362 households, and 9,540 families residing in the borough. The population density is 1,108.3/km² (2,869.8/mi²). There are 13,871 housing units at an average density of 458.1/km² (1,186.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough is 97.10% White, 1.02% African American, 0.03% Native American, 1.11% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.13% from other races, and 0.58% from two or more races. 0.49% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 13,362 households out of which 30.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.0% are married couples living together, 7.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 28.6% are non-families. 26.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 12.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.48 and the average family size is 3.01. In the borough the population is spread out with 23.7% under the age of 18, 5.0% from 18 to 24, 26.8% from 25 to 44, 26.5% from 45 to 64, and 18.1% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 42 years. For every 100 females there are 91.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 87.7 males. The median income for a household in the borough is $53,791, and the median income for a family is $64,390. Males have a median income of $47,876 versus $32,351 for females.
