Beauchief

Beauchief is a village, formerly in Derbyshire, England, which has become a suburb of Sheffield. It lies on a hill above the River Sheaf and the Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet.

Beauchief, generally pronounced "bee-chief", is notable for two buildings, still surrounded by parkland: Beauchief Abbey, long since converted into the parish church, and Beauchief Hall.
