Barry Cryer

Barry Cryer (born in 1935) is a writer and comedian. He started at the Windmill Theatre, London, a club which showed comedy acts in between nude shows, and has written for Morecambe and Wise, Kenny Everett, and others. In the 1970s he appeared with Tim Brooke-Taylor and John Junkin in the BBC radio series Hello, Cheeky! which basically consisted of the three performers bouncing jokes off of each other. He appeared with Willie Rushton in the show Two Old Farts in the Night. He is also famous for doing after-dinner speeches. He is one of the contestants on I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue.
