Amersham tube station

Amersham tube station is a London Underground station in Zone D on the Metropolitan line. It is the terminus of its branch of the line, and is not actually in Greater London; rather, it is in the county of Buckinghamshire. It is approximately 25 miles from the centre of London.

Amersham Station also serves Chiltern Railways, which runs trains from London Marylebone station through Aylesbury to Birmingham. The journey to central London is 45-60 minutes.

Amersham was opened 1 September 1892. It is located on Station Approach (HP6), in Amersham.
