There are 45,618 housing units at an average density of 167.5/km² (433.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 78.07% White, 8.81% African American, 0.55% Native American, 1.33% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 8.73% from other races, and 2.44% from two or more races. 19.45% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
