Yogacarabhumi-sastra

Yogacarabhumi-sastra (Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra) "Discourse on the Stages of Concentration Practice." The definitive text of the Yogācāra school of Buddhism. One hundred fascicles, composed in India between 300 and 350 CE; translated into Chinese by Xuanzang between 646-648 at Hongfu and Dacien Monasteries. In East Asia authorship is attributed to Maitreya, but Tibetan tradition considers it to have been composed by Asaṅga. Sanskrit and Tibetan version of this text are extant.
