Yaohushua

Some Christian sects of recent origin (which ones?) believe that the Hebrew name of Jesus Christ is Yaohushua, and that Jesus should be called by this name only. Common transliterations by scholars are Yeshua, Jeshua, Yahshua, and Yahoshua; Yaohushua is rather rare.

The variations in English spelling are of no real significance as they can only approximate the sound of the Hebrew or Aramaic original.
