Westfield Township is a township located in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 849.


\nAccording to the
United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 61.4 km² (23.7 mi²). 61.4 km² (23.7 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.


\nAs of the
census of 2000, there are 849 people, 338 households, and 267 families residing in the township. The population density is 13.8/km² (35.8/mi²). There are 377 housing units at an average density of 6.1/km² (15.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 99.18% White, 0.00% African American, 0.24% Native American, 0.12% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.12% from other races, and 0.35% from two or more races. 0.24% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 338 households out of which 32.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.5% are married couples living together, 9.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 21.0% are non-families. 19.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.51 and the average family size is 2.80. In the township the population is spread out with 24.3% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 25.8% from 25 to 44, 26.5% from 45 to 64, and 18.1% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 42 years. For every 100 females there are 95.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 90.2 males. The median income for a household in the township is $32,500, and the median income for a family is $33,421. Males have a median income of $30,125 versus $21,875 for females.
