\nWebster is located at 28°36'47" North, 82°3'15" West (28.613142, -82.054043)¹. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.4 km² (1.3 mi²). 3.4 km² (1.3 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

\nAs of the census of 2000, there are 805 people, 294 households, and 209 families residing in the city. The population density is 235.5/km² (608.2/mi²). There are 353 housing units at an average density of 103.3/km² (266.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 56.15% White, 34.53% African American, 0.87% Native American, 0.37% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, 4.60% from other races, and 3.35% from two or more races. 15.16% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 294 households out of which 36.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 38.8% are married couples living together, 26.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 28.9% are non-families. 25.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 10.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.70 and the average family size is 3.19. In the city the population is spread out with 31.3% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 25.5% from 25 to 44, 20.5% from 45 to 64, and 14.4% who are 65 years of age or older.
