Warnsveld

Warnsveld (population: about 9,200) is a municipality in the eastern Netherlands, in the province of Gelderland. The municipality covers an area of 17.10 km².

Warnsveld also has a 'partnership' with the German town Horstmar.

History

Warnsveld's Martinuskerk (Church of Saint Martinus) was probably build as early as the 9th or 10th century. The first mention of the name Warnsveld in writing is from the year 1121.
