Urawa

Urawa (浦和) is a ward (pop. 137,500) of Saitama City, Japan. It houses most of the city's administrative offices, as well as the prefectural offices of Saitama prefecture.

Before 2001, Urawa was an independent city (pop. 442,300 [2000]).
