Tyringham

Tyringham is a village in the County of Milton Keynes, England. It is located about a miles and a half north of Newport Pagnell.

The village name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means 'Tir's home'. In the Domesday Book of 1086 the village was recorded as Telingham.

Now conjoined with nearby Filgrave Tyringham on its own once contained only two houses, but was a village in its own right because it had a parish.
