Turner Field

Turner Field opened April 4, 1997 and has remained the official stadium of the Atlanta Braves baseball team ever since. The stadium was originally constructed and used for the 1996 Olympic Games of Atlanta, Georgia. Turner Field, also known as "The Ted", was named after the former owner, vital to the recent successes of the team, Ted Turner.
