Tuareg

The Tuareg are an ethnic group currently found mostly in West Africa, but were once nomads throughout the Sahara.

They are closely related to North African Berbers and speak a Berber language called Tamashaq. Their writing system, Tifinagh, is the only original Berber script still in use.

Tuareg is also the title of a Spanish book written by Alberto Vázquez Figueroa.
