Tricorn centre

Tricorn Centre is a shopping center in Portsmouth designed by Owen Luder. It was opened in 1966. According to Portsmouth City Council it cost £2 Million to build. Plans have been made for its demolition.

Opponents of demolition argue that this 'modernist/brutalist' structure, while sadly undermaintained, is still salvagable with the work of ingenious designers and a long term city plan. It is currently boarded up and derelict.
