The Miracle of Morgan's Creek

The Miracle of Morgan's Creek is a 1944 comedy film about a girl who wakes up one morning after a wild night with a group of soldiers, to find herself pregnant and married. It stars Eddie Bracken, Betty Hutton, Diana Lynn and William Demarest.

The movie was written and directed by Preston Sturges.

It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Writing, Original Screenplay. In 2001 the United States Library of Congress deemed the film "culturally significant" and selected it for preservation in the National Film Registry.
