The George, Southwark

The George and Dragon as it was formerly known was established in the medieval period on Borough High Street in Southwark. It became one of the many famous coaching Inns in the days of Charles Dickens. It is the only one to survive in Central London and is a popular Inn for the local area.

It is next door to the White Hart and the site of the Tabard
