Temple of the Delians

The Temple of the Delians is a "peripteral" Doric temple dedicated to Apollo. It contains six columns on each of the narrow sides and thirteen on each of the long ones. Also known as the Grand Temple, this is the largest of the three temples dedicated to Apollo. Construction began in 478 BC.
