In the fictional universe of J. R. R. Tolkien, Tar-Meneldur was the fifth King of Númenor. He succeeded his father, Tar-Elendil. He had an older sister, Silmariën, but the rules of succession did not allow women to rule.

Little is known about Tar-Meneldur's rule, other than that evil began to stir in Middle-earth at the time. He was succeeded by his son, Tar-Aldarion.
