Stockholm Stock Exchange

The Stockholm Stock Exchange is a stock exchange located in Stockholm, Sweden. It is the primary securities exchange of the Nordic Countries. It was acquired by OM Group in 1998 and is currently in the process of merging with the Helsinki Stock Exchange (HEX).

The Stock Exchange is located in Old town Stockholm in a building which is owned by and was built for the Swedish Academy. The Academy still uses the building for its meetings, like in the selection and announcement of the Nobel Prize in Literature, but the building is more identified with and is colloquially referred to by the name of its tenant, the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
