St. Louis Cathedral, St. Louis

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, generally known as the St Louis Cathedral, or colloquially the New Cathedral, in St Louis, Missouri, was constructed in (and throughout most of) the twentieth century in midtown St. Louis as a diocesan replacement for the Church of St. Louis IX, King of France (colloquially the Old Cathedral), in the historic St. Louis riverfront since the mid-eighteenth century.
