Slot-machine heraldry
Slot-machine heraldry is a disparaging term used (particularly in the
Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA)) to refer to
heraldic designs in which three different, or thematically unrelated, charges, appear in a row on a shield, supposedly giving the appearance of a
slot machine.
