census of 2000, there are 1,393 people, 651 households, and 462 families residing in the town. The population density is 65.5/km² (169.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.21% White, 0.00% African American, 0.36% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.14% Pacific Islander, 0.22% from other races, and 1.08% from two or more races. 1.44% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
