operating in Scotland
in the 1990s
. They were formed when Militant Tendency
abandoned it's entryist aims to change the political direction of the Labour Party
A strictly Trotskyite organisation their leading member was Tommy Sheridan. The party was successful in winning a number of council seats in Glasgow in the 1995 unitary authority elections.
