Santa Barbara Airport

The Santa Barbara Airport serves the Santa Barbara area. Commercial service began in 1932 with Pacific Seaboard Airlines, and United Airlines inaugurated service from Santa Barbara/Goleta in 1936.

Five airlines serve the Airport with 43 daily departures to nine major international airports; Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, San Jose, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle.

In 2000, an estimated 776,904 passengers used the airport. The three letter airport code for Santa Barbara Airport is SBA.
