Sandy is a good friend of SpongeBob Squarepants and the strongest critter in Bikini Bottom. In order to live underwater she wears the equivalent of an astronaut's suit. She lives inside a specially constructed bubble complete with a tree.
Sandy is an avowed Texas partisan like any resident of that state. She has a decidedly southern accent and is known to take offense at any negative comment about Texas. Sandy is also somewhat sensitive about her minority status as an air-breather.
Sandy has a generally upbeat and positive attitude but can be fierce when angered.
Sandy was once captured by the squirrel commandoes. Spongebob found out at work that oil and flames explode. So when the S.C.'s were about to escape he blew up their ship!
