Rattata (Koratta in japanese) is a basic normal-type Pokémon that evolves into Raticate at level 20. Small and very quick, Rattata is a common sight in many places; when food is available, it will produce offspring very quickly. Rattata is known for chewing on everything it finds.

Availability

In Pokémon Red/Blue, Pokémon Yellow and Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal, Rattata can be found in a variety of locations. In Pokémon Sapphire/Ruby, Rattata is not available at all.

Strengths / Weaknesses

Rattata is vulnerable to Fighting, and strong against Ghost.
