Raritan Bay

Raritan Bay is a body of water off the southern tip of Staten Island, New York near the confluence of the Arthur Kill and the Raritan River, where they both open up into lower New York Bay.

Throughout the history, it has been a prime fishing ground, especially oysters until the Twentieth Century.
