Rangerville is a village located in Cameron County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 203.

Demographics

census of 2000, there are 203 people, 57 households, and 47 families residing in the village. The population density is 22.2/km² (57.6/mi²). There are 66 housing units at an average density of 7.2/km² (18.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 65.02% White, 3.45% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 29.56% from other races, and 1.97% from two or more races. 77.34% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 57 households out of which 38.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.2% are married couples living together, 8.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 15.8% are non-families. 12.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.56 and the average family size is 4.00. In the village the population is spread out with 30.5% under the age of 18, 10.3% from 18 to 24, 25.6% from 25 to 44, 25.6% from 45 to 64, and 7.9% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 33 years. For every 100 females there are 101.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 95.8 males.
