Quispamsis, New Brunswick

Quispamsis is a small town of 13,757 people (2001) in Kings County in New Brunswick, Canada. Many of the inhabitants work in nearby Saint John, only 22 km to the southwest.

In January of 1998, the original town of Quispamsis, village of Gondola Point and a portion of the surrounding area were amalgamated into the new town of Quispamsis.

Quispamsis is adjacent to two picturesque waterways, Kennebecasis River and Hammond River. Quispamsis covers almost 60 square kilometers and offers the Hammond River Nature Park, Ritchie Lake and Meenan's Cove for outdoor activities.
