There are 595 housing units at an average density of 23.9/km² (61.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 96.59% White, 0.12% Black or African American, 0.49% Native American, 0.12% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, 1.46% from other races, and 1.10% from two or more races. 6.10% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 417 households out of which 5.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.1% are married couples living together, 2.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 29.0% are non-families. 24.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.97 and the average family size is 2.26.
