She is the Daughter of King Maximillian Acorn and Queen Alicia Acorn. She is also accompanied by her older brother Elias Acorn. Her Family rules the area of Knothole, a haven from the destructive powers of Eggman (a.k.a Robotnick). She has a compact super computer with her called Nicole. SHe uses it for Various reasons but the cool thing is Nicole can speak. Sally is the only one in her family who can tap into the Legendary sword of Acorns. Some of Sallys friends include Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails (Miles) Prower the Fox, Knuckles the Echidna, Bunnie Rabbot, Amy Rose the Hedgehog, Antoine d'coolette, Hershey the Cat, Lupe the Wolf, Geoffery st. John and many many Others.
Sally has always had a crush on Sonic, although other boys try to win her heart (Antoine and Geoffery to name a couple). Recently they have started dating again. Much to Mina Mongooses dismay, Sally has a hard time trying to keep other girls away from Sonic as well as run the kingdom and be part of the freedom fighters.
