Power supply in Norway

Norway is mostly supplied by norwegian-generated hydroelectric power, and they are one of the foremost countries in the world as regards expertise in the field.

Unfortunately, they haven't been able to apply that expertise to themselves; the power grid is littered with transients, and also appears to be somewhat underdimensioned.

Norway routinely imports and exports power on the Scandinavian grid, usually both at the same time; the net effect seems to be leaning towards export.
