Porsche 356
The 
356 was according to some the original 
Porsche automobile (others say the 
Porsche 64), created by 
Ferry Porsche using parts and knowledge from the 
Volkswagen factory. It was available both with and without roof (coupé and roadster). The car body was designed by 
Erwin Komenda.
The car bears a close resemblance to the Volkswagen, including an air-cooled, rear-mounted engine.
The 356 was introduced in the 1948 and was replaced by the Porsche 911 and the Porsche 912 in 1963.
