Phocus

In Greek mythology, two different people bore the name Phocus.

  1. A son of Aeacus and Psamathe, this Phocus was killed by his half-brothers, Telamon and Peleus. He had one son: Panopeus.
  2. A son of Poseidon, this Phocus founded the city of Phocis, which was named after him.
